Asset Conveyancing is a licensed conveyancing practice with its head office in Adelaide. We act on property transactions in South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia and Tasmania, with one qualified professional responsible for each matter from the first contract review to settlement.
Who is Asset Conveyancing?
Asset Conveyancing (trading as Asset Conveyancing Services) is a conveyancing firm based at Level 2, 300 Flinders St, Adelaide, with virtual offices in Victoria, New South Wales and Western Australia. Because we hold licences across several states, clients can use one firm whether they are buying in their home state or interstate.
Our clients include:
- first home buyers and owner occupiers
- investors, including international investors buying Australian property
- developers and builders
- real estate agents, finance and mortgage brokers, and banks
- surveyors
Our work covers buying property and selling property of every type, from residential, rural and vacant land to strata and community title, off the plan, commercial and industrial. We also advise on property law matters such as ownership structures, family transfers and registered interests, and on business and commercial law including business sales and leasing.
How do we manage your matter?
Every matter is delegated to one qualified professional who manages it from start to completion. You deal with the same person throughout, and that person knows your contract, your deadlines and your lender’s requirements.
This matters most at the points where transactions go wrong: a special condition that needs to be satisfied by a set date, a finance approval running late, a title issue found in searches, or a settlement that has to line up with another purchase. One responsible person means nothing is lost in a handover between staff.
How does electronic settlement work with us?
We settle electronically through PEXA, and we are PEXA certified. In an electronic settlement, the parties’ representatives and lenders work in a shared online workspace, documents are signed digitally, funds are exchanged electronically and the transfer is lodged with the land registry as part of the same process.
Electronic settlement removes the need for a physical meeting between representatives, which is a large part of why we can act on transactions in states other than South Australia. We also use specialist conveyancing software to manage searches, documents, adjustments and key dates on every file.
How will we communicate with you?
We explain your contract, your obligations and your deadlines in plain English, and we tell you what is happening before you need to ask. If something in a contract or a search result needs your decision, we set out what it means and what your options are.
