Monique Komlusan is a Conveyancing Associate at Asset Conveyancing. She has been with the firm since 2016 and works mainly on transactions in South Australia, Queensland, Western Australia and Victoria.
Experience
Monique joined Asset Conveyancing in 2016. Since then she has worked on property transactions across four states, which means working daily with different contract forms, settlement practices and land registry requirements.
Qualifications
Monique is studying to become a fully qualified and registered conveyancer. She works within the firm alongside its licensed conveyancers.
What Monique handles
Monique’s work is concentrated in four states:
Those transactions cover both buying and selling property. The rules differ from state to state: each has its own contract forms, its own approach to seller disclosure and cooling-off, and its own land registry and revenue office. Working regularly across these jurisdictions means those differences are part of everyday practice rather than an exception.
How Monique works with clients
Monique is solution focused. When an issue comes up in a transaction, such as a delay in finance, a question raised by searches or a date that needs to move, her approach is to work out what needs to happen to keep the matter on track and to get it done.
She keeps clients informed as a matter progresses, so they know where their transaction stands, what is coming up next and what they need to do before settlement. For clients buying or selling in a state they are not familiar with, that regular contact is often what they value most.
